Since this event is after 6pm, you are welcome to park on the street anywhere downtown for free. There is also a very small parking lot located behind the Patterson building, space permitting. You can access this lot via an alleyway from 5th or from Armory (street behind 5th). Please note that parking in the 4th Street Live parking garage (next to the Cathedral) will entail a fee and will not be validated nor reimbursed by YCP.
Louisville native Nancy Simon, RN, BSN, MA retired last year as Chief Nurse Executive for HCA West Florida. While there she was responsible for the division's clinical quality and service initiatives including patient experience, nursing recruitment and retention, and nursing management development. Previously she served as Vice President for Patient Care Services and Chief Nurse Executive at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL. Before that role, she served as the System CNE for Methodist Health System in Dallas where she oversaw the operations of nursing services within its four acute care hospitals and academic clinic.
Nancy began her management career with HCA at Columbia Suburban Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky and later moved to Frankfort Regional Medical Center in 2003 as CNO/COO and continued at Orange Park Medical Center. Nancy is Board Certified in Nurse Executive Advanced with the American Nurses Credentialing Center, is a Fellow with the American College of Health Care Executives, and has a Doctorate in Nursing Practice.
Now back in Louisville, she is currently a parishioner at St. Patrick along with her husband Steve. And enjoys her retirement by spending more time with her 4 children and 7 grandchildren.
